This came with one panel. I wanted to use it for the living room window but at night you can see through it. During the day with the sun, you cannot see through it. I wanted an almost translucent curtain for more light to come through the window but this one is more for a center piece or if you have a more private house with no neighbors. I like the material. It feels kind of like a silky material. The rod hole size is big enough. They are metal. It is very long which I like. I just made the rod higher to the ceiling.
