First impression was how soft the duvet and Shans were. Devin's impression was hope heavy the set was. The zipper is high quality and made out way to open and insert my cover. The stitching is nice and the sham and duvet have a nice extra edge that makes it stand out compared to a regular duvet. The thread count was perfect as it's soft and feels very smooth. It fit the queen size bed perfectly with a boy of over hang to cover the mattress side. The duvet sends like it will be easy to wash and care for.

I am pleasantly surprised by this better homes and gardens duvet cover. The color is a true deep gray that looks rich and works well with a variety of decor styles. The material feels like a good quality fabric and I really like the clean, simple design. It has very little embellishment, making it a great choice for modern, farmhouse, or minimalist bedrooms. One feature that really stood out is the zipper closure instead of struggling with buttons, there's a nicely designed zipper opening that makes inserting and removing the duvet much easier.. My only real criticism is that the fabric isn't especially soft right out of the package. It has more of a crisp linen feel than a cozy brushed cotton feel. I'm hoping it softens up after a washer too, which I suspect it will. I was also impressed with the sizing. Even though I purchased the full/queen size, I spread it across my king size bed, just to see how it looked, and it actually covered the entire bed with a bit of overhang on the sides. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. If you're looking for a well-made, simple duvet, cover with an easy to use zipper closure this is definitely worth considering.
