if you have had a surgery, and are limited to bending or flexing or have poor feeling in your fingers, these laces make it very easy to wear your existing shoes,with out the need to by velcro type shoe. just by replacing your laces with these,you can now just slip in and out of your shoes and still adjust how snug they are with very little effort.
