Purchased this frame for an 8 X 10 photo of our granddaughter to display on the wall in our family room. I wanted a thick frame to fill up wall space, so this frame with the mat was perfect. The finish and design are really nice, what I would call "museum quality". It was a little pricey, but I am very happy with the purchase. Was packed very well, also . . . so no damage. Highly recommend.
