Disappointed, these are not blackout curtains

My daughter chose these for the theme of her bedroom. They took a little over 2 weeks to arrive (from China). The only reason I haven't returned them to Walmart is because my daughter likes the design/pattern. The description claims that these are blackout curtains, but they are far from that. Before I even put them up, I knew they weren't. Blackout curtains are supposed to block out the light 85-99%. As you can see from my pictures, these let a lot of light in the room. If your main goal is to have blackout curtains, SKIP THESE. The price is decent on them, but they should not be marketed as blackout curtains, False Advertising.
