I got these to wear around the house in the cold Wisconsin winters to keep my feet warm and they serve the purpose! Even with the openings, they kept my feet nice and toasty without getting too warm/sweaty due to the openings because they are more sandal style. They are super soft and the bottom has a decent amount of support. I would say they run a tiny bit large, but nothing too crazy.
