I am 70ish close to eighty. I have never used soap of any kind on my face. Thanks to good advice when I was young, I have almost no wrinkles. I never use pressed powder; I only use loose powder on my face. Once my make-up is on, I use a light dusting of loose powder (even on my eye lashes to increase the volume of the mascara.) Okay, let's do this right. First a mascara base, then power, then two applications of mascara. Make sure the mascara is dry between applications or you may have clumps. I hope this encourages you. Use a good make-up remover, especially for eye make-up. Follow up with a warm washcloth and then apply a good moisturizer. The difference between day and night moisturizer is usually sunscreen. So, be sure to use one that contains sunscreen during the day or if you work at night under fluorescent lights. Never go to bed without removing your make-up. Sleep on a satin pillowcase because it will discourage wrinkles. Thank you.
