This item is not as high waisted as shown in the model. But then again the model doesn't need a shaper, she is thin enough without it.I fine it only reaches my waist and I wouldn't consider high waisted. I like the 3 sets of hooks and forced my old flabby body into the smallest set but then the "muffin top" appears because its not high waisted. Yes, its good quality. I guess I would recommend it if your expectations were lower than mine.
