Patriot Memory P210 P210S2TB25 2 TB Solid State Drive - 2.5" Internal - SATA (SATA/600)

I purchased this hard drive to replace the hard drive that failed in my PlayStation 4. While I am happy with the size of the new hard drive being twice the memory capacity of the original hard drive that was originally in my PS4. This Patriot Solid State Hard Drive has lag issues pretty often, especially when voice acting is involved in games. This wasn't an issue that I had with the original hard drive. There was never a lag like this while using the original PS4 hard drive. While this lag isn't a deal breaker for me, if I had more expendable funds at my disposal I most definitely would replace this hard drive with a more well known brand like Samsung. When I purchased this Patriot hard drive I assumed falsely that this hard drive would perform better than the original mechanical drive that had been in my PS4. While load times do seem to take less time overall, after the game has loaded the game seems to lack in overall performance with lagging from time to time. I honestly would rather have to wait on load times and have the game perform the way that it is meant to perform, than to have to play the game that lags during gameplay affecting the overall experience of the game. I am playing with a PS4 Pro, so it is the better performing PlayStation model. This Patriot hard drive was one of the cheapest on the market to purchase. So the saying that you get what you pay for seems to aptly apply here.
