Time and Tru Women's High-Rise Denim Shorts, 5" Inseam, Sizes 0-22

I used the "fit predictor" thingy to choose a size. I'm all over the place between brands so I can't say whether they're true to size, but if I'd ordered without the recommendation I would've ordered a 12 - the fit predictor recommended a 10 so I decided to trust it bc I could always return them, and the 10 fits well! I probably could wear a 12 for a looser fit but I like that these are fitted at the waist and top of the hips/butt but have room in the lower hips and thighs. It's a flattering look on my body type. Tbf I did ask ChatGPT for jean short recommendations with a picture of myself and it gave me these as one of the options. I'm a kind of dramatically pear-shaped person. On the medium wash product pictures my top half looks like the model in the red shirt and my legs look like the model in the white shirt. So anyway these are very flattering in my opinion for mid-sized pear shaped body types! Sometimes shorts that flare out make me look like I'm wearing a diaper but these work really well. I paid $18 but if they go on sale I'd buy a backup pair in the medium wash and maybe in black too! I also think they're comfortable but I prefer 100% cotton jeans generally so I'm used to a more rigid feel than stretchy.
