Key item features

  • Unico Infinito: Artist brushes with patented Hidro® synthetic hair offer the softness and absorbency of natural hair, perfect for techniques requiring gradual color release. Our watercolor brushes set feature a quill shape that expands under pressure, allowing artists to execute expressive strokes; The ergonomic medium-length handle reduces hand strain, making them essential watercolor supplies for adults; The medium handle is short enough for close work and long enough for working at an easel.
  • Materials: Each quill watercolor brush is meticulously handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans using patented Hidro synthetic hair; The ultra-soft, high-absorbency bristles release color slowly; Textured, non-slip ergonomic handle reduces hand fatigue, while the anti-roll design keeps the brush in place when not in use; Double brass wirebound ferrules hold the flame-shaped bristles in place
  • Quill Artist Brush: Quill brushes have a large, rounded body with a fine tip, made for holding more water or paint; They’re perfect for smooth washes and delicate linework, commonly used in watercolor for both broad strokes and details; The extra-long quill liner is particularly suited for painting botanical scenes with precise, elegant strokes
  • Paints: While suitable for all paint types, Hidro quill brushes are designed with the watercolor artist in mind; The flame-shaped quill tuft offers incredible responsiveness for delicate details and bold washes, releasing water gradually for smooth, consistent brushstrokes
  • About Borciani e Bonazzi: Borciani e Bonazzi has been manufacturing fine artist brushes for over half a century; Today, our expert craftsmen still make our brushes exclusively by hand, one by one, using age-old techniques and top-quality materials consisting of natural hair or bristles as well as high performing synthetic fiber

I absolutely love these brushes

These hold a lot of water and you seem to be able to paint forever. I got the smaller sizes and they work well for what I am painting.

Great

Beautiful brushes. Nice grip, hold a ton of water. I bought the set but I don't think I needed three sizes so close together
