Read this first. I ordered all colors. I’m a size 12, curvy, weigh around 200ish with a mom belly.Based off the reviews. I ordered up a size . That was only true for the lighter color so order one size up (I went to a 14) The darker jean and black color, I’d go up 2 sizes. They buttoned at a 14 but they’re miserable lol . I’m waiting on the 16 to come now.

Too tight in stomach

These shorts are basic 90s style with a 5" inseam. Everything I wanted but I got my usual size 12 and they were too tight. Unfortunately, 5" are hard to find and all the sizes are basically sold out before I could even try the 12. So, now I can't try the 14 either. I was able to zip and button my regular size but they cinch in across the zipper and button so expect to possibly size up for that reason.

Great fitting shorts !

I'm 5'4" with short legs and I have problems finding denim shorts that are the percent length for me. I'm not comfortable in really short "shorts" but Bermuda length shorts are not a good look for me. I wear between a size 10 and size 12 and decided to size up. They fit perfectly around my waist and the length is about 2" above my knee. These shorts are a good quality denim that washes well without shrinking or losing shape. They are well made and look great. There are even pockets to stash my iPhone and keys. Time and True has the best clothes this summer that have the high end look without the high end price.
