Bought 2 but 1 is slower

I purchased two of these for my grandchildren for Christmas, one red and one blue. I gave the blue one to the 8 year old and the red one to the 11 year old. Assembly was easy, so that was good. Once charged and the kids rode them we found that the red one is 3 mph slower at its highest speed than the blue one. I realize the ad says up to 19 mph but 3 mph seems like a pretty big difference, 15%. My biggest problem is that I have sent 2 messages to the vendor and have received no reply. If both of these had performed at 19 mph I would have given 5 stars.
