I would recommend buying something a little good size if you’re 2X something like that My Husband‘s a 2X and he had to go to 3X just because of the way it’s made but I highly recommend them. They are great quality

Light weight polo shirt button closure

I ordered a size extra large in this Wrangler polo shirt for my son. Depending on the brand, he wears either a large or extra large and the extra large fit him well. The shirt is a nice light shirt which is not see through on yet is when you lift it up to the light. There is a front left pocket and a top button closure. The buttons are nice quality and sewn on well.
