These rods are great

I have a few of these and they are great. I mostly trout fish with them and I have no complaints. I have had a few guys break their rod while we are out fishing and I let them use one of mine. They end up getting one of their own. The action and sensitivity are second to none.

Even better than I had anticipated

I purchased the Spinning 7,6ft Crixus for Pike and Muskellunge. The lure weight specification of the rod suggest 1.5oz maximum but this rod has serious back bone and stiffness to easily throw 5 oz lures a mile! Has just the right action for my big jerk and swim baits. I can't be anymore impressed. It's also very light comparatively to any other rod in its class. True value, exceptional performance.

Is a Christmas gift for my grandson.

Can't really comment, is a gift for my grandson for Christmas. He knows fishing equipment and this is what he requested. So it must be top of the line. (pardon the pun)! He requests nothing but the best. ?
