Ugly self watering planters that don't work!

The top/lid is a different color than the base of the planter and is visible from every direction. This makes the entire planter ugly. There were no directions explaining how to assemble and use the self watering system. It also doesn't work. The water does not reach the plant using the white cord. I am very disappointed with this product. I purchased two of them. One is brown with an ugly GREY top! The other is blue with an ugly GREY top! I haven't even put a plant in the brown one. Brown with a GREY top?! Seriously?! It's still sitting in my garage, unused. I had planned to use it in my foyer. It would have been the first thing guests see when entering my home. It is UGLY!!!
