Loved the design and outcome of the bed, the only issue is the drawers aren't sturdy enough. Instructional manual was very easy to understand and the directions on how to put it together was very very helpful. It just took me about 8 hours to put it together as I did it alone and it was my first time putting a bed together

I put my entire IKEA kitchen together so I'm not a stranger to diy. This bed was a nightmare to put together. Not because it was complicated, because it's not, but because so many of the screw holes didn't align. Even when they did match up it was a struggle getting the threads aligned. It was extremely frustrating. Also the various screw sizes were put together in a stupid manner. They were labeled, but not put in any sort of order that would have been common sense, like say, order of use. They were vacuum packed on a sheet of cardboard, so if you needed H but E and J were under it, they'd fall out as you tried to dig out H. It just felt very disjointed figuratively and literally. It's nice looking enough, but assembling it was a really miserable experience.
