Beautiful, sturdy, and simple to assemble

The shipping box was super sturdy, the packing was done carefully, and included a fair amount of sheet styrofoam (which I recycled by giving it to a local UPS shop for use in their shipping). Importantly, the assembly instructions were clear. The required tools were included, all the parts were clearly labeled, and even though I am not at all strong, I was able to assemble the bed frame by myself. For attaching the sides and back, I set the frame for the mattress up on boxes. There were two small goofs: the packaging of the washers had broken and half of them were scattered about the box, but I found them all; one nut had no interior threading, but I plan to replace it at a hardware store, and the bed frame is sturdy and usable anyway. Plus the bed is beautiful! Perfect for my needs---to have a place to sit and read but also sleep, and there's plenty of room for storage underneath it. Definitely recommend this day bed.
