These lights are very bright

I decided to change the lights of 2004 Mazda3 to LED bulbs since 2 of my bulbs burned out. These lights are bright and does the job wonderfully, and although I didn't need any LED resistors for my blinkers, I looked online and some people suggested that I add some resistors just in case. At night, these bulbs projects my hazard lights farther than needed, and I'm sure the increased brightness will let other drivers see me (at least from the rear).

2nd best of three brands I tested

I bought these, plus JDM ASTAR 1200 Lumens 144-EX 7440, plus OXILAM Backup Reverse Lights 7440. They were all pretty good, but these were the 2nd best for brightness, whiteness, and a nice even light lobe pattern. The best were the JDM ASTAR, followed by the OXILAM as 3rd. They were all pretty good, as I said, but these were the 2nd best looking ones. Used in a 2016 Mazda 5, and also in a 1997 Honda Civic. One thing to know though: NONE of these three would fit into the sockets for reverse lights for a 2010 Honda Civic. Even though all three cars use 7440 lamps, for some reason these LED replacements would not fit the 2010, even though they fit the other 2 cars. Weird. Can't comment on "longevity" since I just installed them.

Works perfectly on an NB Miata

I placed an order with a "very" bright led website that recommended a 7443 bulb for my 2001 Mazda Miata taillights. Unfortunately their site did not know that the NB Miata's use a CK wired rear taillight. After blowing both high and low brake light fuses and then doing some research I figured out the problem. I searched around quite a bit for a decent 7443 CK bulb and settled on these. I was a little concerned about quality and light output but those fears were unfounded. These bulbs work great on my Miata! They are significantly brighter than the incandescent bulbs they replaced (I compared from multiple distances and lighting conditions), give an even distribution of light, have significant difference in light output between low and high, and seem to be very well made. I've had them installed for about a week now and have had zero issues. Highly recommended, especially for the price.
