This is a beautiful blue (even better than shown), so I’ve ordered 2 more to finish a larger blanket. It looks excellent by itself or paired with true white. I’m also buying a set of gray %26 white for a second blanket. I originally purchased this yarn for its softness…I’d lost my hair due to chemo and all the hats I’d tried irritated my skin. So, I made a few hats out of this yarn and bingo…no more itchy head. I then made a few more and passed them out to some of my “chemo friends”…they were a hit. One small challenge: Items made with this yarn run warm, so try before you buy/make a lot of stuff with it. I hope you enjoy the cozy softness from this yarn!

I like the Magenta Purple color, I would say it's a Raspberry color. I'm crocheting a lap blanket for myself. Its a pretty color and easy to work with. I've bought several of mainstays velvet yarn. It's a good value also. I recommend for scarves or blankets.

I absolutely love this yarn. It doesn’t fuzz up and fall apart like a lot of chenille or polyester yarns like this. I just wish it was available in more colors than offered online or in store. It would be awesome to have bright colors and pastels.
