3 months in pros/cons required care

So far I love this set, it's been three months. I use them daily and I still don't have any sticking. After ruining another ceramic set in a year I figured out the maintenance and I'm happy with these pans. Pros: beautiful, they, feel nice when cooking, long comfortable handle, well balanced, don't tip, need less oil, not teflon. Still non-stick after 3 months Cons: more care then teflon. Should come with a larger pan. I bought the 12.5 inch separately which, completes this set. See pictures with the remote for scale. The large lid does not fit the large pan perfectly and they don't sell a matching lid that size. See the pictures Now if you are thinking these are granite or stone of some type, they are not. The box says granite ceramic; because granite is just a term for the speckled finish coating on a ceramic pan. One thing I thought was weird was that these don't come with any instructions when proper care makes a huge difference for ceramic. Below is best practices that I learned after destroying a set. 1. medium heat only: it really does cook like high heat on medium. So when you see reviews from people who burnt the handle, they also said these didn't last. Because you can't burn the handle if you're using medium flame and high kills the finish 2. Don't use olive oil or aerosol spray like pam. They bind to the coating and it roughens the surface over time, decreasing the non stick slide. I use avocado oil but anything high smoke point will do. 3. Do not shock your pans. Basically, don't get them wet when they're hot. I learned growing up to wash pans immediately when cooking eggs or cheese, to keep it from sticking. However, using water that is colder than the pan creates a rapid temperature change. The core shrinks faster than the coating, weakening the physical bond. 4. Paper towel trick. After the pan cools down slightly, like 1-2 mins wipe it with a paper towel. Honestly, it gets everything off. Your pans won't need anything but a light sponging when you wash them. Less scrubbing is less wear and tear. 5. Don't hit them against other things when cleaning and use the separators when storing. The ceramic coating can chip, causing food stick. 6. And of course hand wash only.

Get them!

Very affordable and good quality. I was skeptical at first. Make sure not over heating the pan, let them cool before putting in water to prevent warping. Thats with most types of pans. I make sure to use wooden or silicone utensils. The whole set has been great to use. Its so non stick and my meals have turned out excellent.

Highly recommend

I have been using these pans for a little over a month and I absolutely love them. My son burned gravy in one , and amazingly it came right out with a silicone spatula. I haven't put them in the dishwasher as we have extremely hard water, so I don't want the white water spots all over the beautiful coating, they are easy enough to clean by hand. I have never been happier with a set of pots and pans as I am with these. And they come with separating pads that keeps the pans from scraping together and getting scratched up. I 100% recommend these, the durability and ease of cleaning make them worth it.
