Make sure you go off the sizing chart for this. The measurements are accurate, and I made the mistake of going off my normal size instead of using the chart. The elastic in the waistband is very strong, which helps keep it in place during exercise, but is more unforgiving on ordering the wrong size. A size higher than my normal size would fit better according to the chart, but the size I ordered is usable. It's a little tighter than I would prefer but it was not distracting or impeding my workout. The legs are loose and comfortable and the fabric handled my exercise well (taekwondo).
