The color is more tan than it is yellow.

I took a chance when I purchased the rug hoping it was more tan than yellow and I was not disappointed. It is perfect. It took some time for it to flatten out the bumps from being rolled but now looks great. A great quality rug for the price and I shopped around.

Lovely rug for the price

I have wanted a nice braided rug for literally 10 yrs. The prices or the colors were always off. This one was affordable and the square shape perfect for the configuration of our new living room. I could NOT be happier with this rug. As someone else mentioned (and which is why I bought it), the colors are much darker than this bleached out photo shows. They are nice, midrange earth colors of rust, olive green, gold, tan and beige.
