This catches everything in a stream/creek. So far I've caught small mouth, large mouth, %26 rock bass plus numerous varieties of sunfish, a few crappies, a catfish and some shiners. The bass color works great in either clear or stained water. Most of the time I cast this a little upstream and let the current give it action. ** The hooks are very sharp so I suggest bringing along needle nose pliers to keep from getting hooked**
