Skullcandy Hesh ANC Foldable on-Ear Headphones, True Black

Absolutely love these headphones. They are my new favorites. The matte black color is so timeless and good looking. The ear portion folds and turns 180 degrees which makes it easy to store in the pouch. And yes.. it comes with a storage pouch that has pockets in the inside for the charging cable and wire connector ( if you want to hard connect vs Bluetooth). I would say the pouch should be a bit more cushioned. But it's not a deal breaker. The wired cable is not compatible with iPhones. So it's a useless cable unless you get an adapter. But also not a deal breaker since the wireless feature is what's more important. The charging cable doesn't come with a block to connect to the wall. But it's a standard usb that can connect to your laptop or other blocks that you may have for your phone. The battery keeps a good charge. I didn't charge it when I got it and I listened to hours of music and it still had charge left. That's awesome. The fit of the phones over your head was comfortable for me and it can be adjusted lengthways if needed. There is also a cushion at the top bridge so it rests on your bed well without pressure. I haven't asked anyone if they can hear my music when I'm listening to it on full blast. But I know for sure that I can't hear anything but my music when the noise canceling is on. This was easy to connect to my iphone and my iPad. There are only 4 buttons - on/off, noise cancelling and volume up and down that are on one side of the headphones. I do wish they were positioned on the outer surface for convenience. But again, not a deal breaker. And the fact that they are essentially hidden from others makes the design flawless and sleek.

Okay, so I have to admit that when putting the Hesh ANC Wireless Noise Cancelling headphones up against higher cost more established renowned brands such as Bose, Sony etc, I was open minded, yet skeptical of setting my expectations high. Skull candy has always seemed to have a rep for being on the cheaper end ( no secret to that ) more accessible and marketed to the younger models. With all of that said, my expectations were shattered. While unboxing the Hesh ANC's I want to list a few of the mental notes I had taken for my self in thought while I checked off every box on the check list. The box felt light, almost like nothing was in there! I actually thought it might have been empty! Lol. My first thought though was that they seemed a bit smaller than the imaging online, and its packaging makes it seem. Not an issue, just a note. They are light, they are versatile and immediately you can see that the quality of the materials is a bit more than expected. They feel solid, yet flexibly adjustable with ability to rotate, extend, and fold for portability. To add to portability they include a decently nice carry pouch, that should offer basic protection. Then I put them on, initially they feel very comfortable while wearing, and dome my ears perfect, which I've never had before. Iistening to some music first while in power off mode the music sound crisp, but volume was a bit low I felt. These headphones are wireless, giving it Bluetooth capabilities, also housing a built in microphone to my surprise as I wasn't sure if they did or not. My first impression of this product when powered on in a room with others and mild noise, turning on noise cancelation is automatic. And. Wow. Absolutely stunned by the experience with skull candies new ANC headphones. The noise cancelation feature is now something I dont see my self living without. There is also the option of "Ambient mode" which does the opposite of the noise canceling feature, and enhances sounds around you, which is very handy when you just can not block out the entire world... the microphone is crisp and the feedback during ambient mode makes hearing the family while say, watching TV, or playing games much easier without lifting an ear or pausing. I've had these now over a week and I've started using these specifically for gaming. Late night when I dont wish to disturb or when I want no disruptions my self. I actually fell asleep with these on with very minimal discomfort afterwards. They are good for longer use.. And possibly the best thing about these headphones is the Battery life, and charge time. The battery life is incredible! 22 hours battery life, fast charges 3 hours play time in less than 10 minutes on the juice. For someone like my self who fails to put everything on the charger, these are great. Overal, These headphones completely blew me away and at the price level, versus its competitors. Its fair to say skull candy has stepped their game Way Up! If I had to mark one thing that does bother me a bit is, that I feel the volume could be a bit higher than its set levels while power and NC is ON. Other than that I give them 5 stars and would recommend these to any and everyone. They would make a Great gift to anyone really.
