The material of these chairs feels very solid and high-quality, much better than I expected for the price. Purchased four chairs one had some minor defects on the bottom, but they replaced it within a few weeks Chairs look exactly like the pictures online. I think the faux leather looks like realistic leather. It has a slight texture to it, and nice stitching. It looks quality. Chair leans slightly back for relaxed sitting. My own personal preference would be to have a straighter back.
