Great air conditioning!

I received it when promised and the driver was helpful and friendly.. I removed it from the box and it looks great. I read the instructions and they were okay but a little fuzzy on a few things but overall pretty good. I installed it by myself because it wasn't that heavy. I started it up and it worked great on the rapid cooling setting. It is in an upstairs bedroom and I left for about 30 minutes and stepped back into the room and it was much more comfortable. It's about 93 outside but it's feeling a lot better inside. Still needs a little more time running but I have no doubt in about an hour the room will be in the low 70s.

Love This

This is amazing. I bought the Midea 8,000 btu smart inverter window air conditioner. I put it in my bedroom. I leave the bathroom door open %26 the kitchen door %26 it cools all 3 rooms. 430 square feet %26 it says it only cools 350 square feet. I set it on Eco auto 70 degrees %26 it freezes me out. I have to turn it up to 72 degrees. The bedroom %26 bathroom are super cold. the kitchen is 74 degrees. Now I can go in the kitchen without being hot %26 don't have to turn on my old kitchen a.c. that uses twice the electricity. This one has an EER 13 %26 uses 39% less electricity. Haven't got my electric bill yet but I know it's going to go down. The smart inverter technology is amazing. When it idles down to low fan you can barely hear it. it does this once your room reaches your set temperature on Eco auto. When you first turn it on it sounds like a medium fan speed. I wish it was louder. Set it to the Eco auto 70 degrees %26 hit flash cool. It cools your room in 5 minutes. it's super cold. The flash cool turns itself off in 30 minutes. I didn't think it would cool all 3 rooms but it does %26 the adjoining bedroom door is louvered so the cold air goes thru that %26 it keeps the spare bedroom at 74 degrees. You can hear it idle down %26 a small background sound when it idles up. It came with adhesive strips to fill in the tiny cracks. worked perfectly. I put the Midea 5,000 btu in the spare bedroom. Loved it so much I bought this one. The 5,000btu is not an inverter so it makes a loud fan noise that I love. It drowns out the neighbors. Midea needs to make the smart inverter in all sizes so I can put one in every room. It has Alexa that I need to set up so I can adjust the temperature by voice commands on my soundbar. The only feature they didn't think of is, the remote needs to be backlit. I'm very impressed. I only buy Frigidaire. This cools the same with less energy usage. Love it.
