So functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat has great design and great functionality. I cannot stress this enough, this is the absolute.. without a doubt.. 100% easiest car seat I have ever installed. My wife and I have three kids. Between the 7-8 different ones we've owned, my parents and my in-laws own, I would guess that I've installed at least a dozen different brands/types of car seats in at least 6 different vehicles. The base on this car seat was the absolute easiest. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was very pleased with the slide feature. Unfortunately for myself, it isn't able to slide out the entire way in my vehicle. I own a Toyota Tacoma and the car seat itself bumps into the hand grip in the backseats. I was hoping to use this seat in my vehicle, but had to move it into my wife's vehicle. For her Hyundai Sante Fe, it worked amazingly. It slides out a good ways and makes it super easy to set the baby carrier into. It then very easily slides and locks back into place. We no longer have to try and stretch and contort our arms into the backseat to set our baby into the car seat base. We just slide it out and set them in. It makes it super easy.
Great Car Seat and Awesome Base
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The car seat is really nicely designed It is very lightweight and comfortable to carry Super easy to use and appreciate how comfortable baby is in the seat We have tried other car seats that he has seemed really uncomfortable in so finding on he likes is a huge plus The base is such an awesome product It was very easy to install and I LOVE all the indicator lights It is great having the peace of mind knowing it is installed and correctly in place The slide feature is amazing it really does make getting baby in and out of the car much easier I tried using this in the center seat of our 2 row SUV It is so nice to be able to slide it closer to the door to easily remove the car seat I like this best if you have one kid they seem safer in the middle seat and it makes getting the car seat out easier than crawling into the car You can easily pull it out from the door We have 2 kids so I mainly use this in the back seat behind the driver side it is so nice being able to slide the car seat out the door a bit to pull baby out when we get home It is really nice not having to remove the car seat to get baby out I do not have a stroller that is compatible with this car seat so this is a really great option I love that the base and car seat are airline approved however the base is a bit heavy and would likely be a bit cumbersome to bring through the airport The light car seat does make up a bit for the extra weight in the base I got this product as part of the stellar product testing panel and I am so happy that I did Overall this car seat and base combo hit a home run here
Love the sliding feature
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift from Stellar product testing panel. I was looking to get another car seat as we have two cars and we dislike having to move the one car seat every time we use a different car. This car seat look and design are pretty standard to the industry, it is gray and black. The one thing that stood out is if you use it with the base, there is a sliding feature which comes very useful when you're holding the baby with one hand and you can activate the sliding feature by holding and pulling it on the side, See pics below. It comes out approx 6-12 inches I'm not sure, but it makes it more comfortable to put him in there and buckle the baby in. Once he is in I push/slide the car seat back into its base to hear a click and he is safely in. Installing it in the car was pretty simple just follow the instructions and lastly I loved the sliding feature. Makes buckling him in a lot easier.
