My toes were freezing sitting at my desk got these charged the batteries and took them to work. I set them on low and no more freezing toes. It was great. I drove home with them still on the lowest setting and after ten hours the battery level was only one light out out of four so I had at least 66% remaining. What a difference they made. The battery tucks into a pouch at the top where the controller is located. Appears to be well made. I told my coworker you got to get one of these.

I wore these to bed and around the house. I don't think they'd be very comfortable with shoes on because they are very bulky, but are comfortable enough without shoes.
