The L-308X-U provides a wide metering range from 0 to 19.9 EV at ISO 100, works with exposure times starting as low as 1/8000 all the way up to 60 seconds, and offers a broad flash range from f/1.0 to f/90.9 at ISO 100. The meters settings can be easily viewed on the customizable LCD display, which automatically lights up when working at 5 EV or darker. This is a very versatile easy to use light meter I would definitely recommend

Quick and easy to work with, directions are short and easy to understand. I've already used the unit to take measurements for lighting/strobe placement at an upcoming wedding. Found it to be quite natural to work with. Had an older style meter but it was film era and had the dials and analog sweep hand display. Did some basic research and found this brand and model specifically rated very well for being accurate and reliable but budget friendly.
