  • Upgraded LCD Display: With a large 2.36" x 1.85" screen and a clearer backlight display, our electricity usage monitor can display data more clearly, whether it is day or night. The 180° full wide viewing angle makes it easy to read and record data from any angle. No need to stand in front of the display and bend over to read the numbers.
  • Adjustable Backlight Time: Our upgraded wattmeter has 5 backlight time options. The default backlight time is 10 minutes (bL-0). If you want to change the backlight time, you can press and hold the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons at the same time to enter the backlight time setting, then press "UP" and "DOWN" at the same time to select the backlight time (bL-0 = 10 minutes, bL-1 = 1 hour, bL-2 = 4 hours, bL-3 = 8 hours, bL-4 = always on), and finally press "COST" to save the backlight time setting.
  • Overload Protection: When the power of the appliance exceeds the overload power, the LCD display will display "OVERLOAD" to warn the user. All buttons will stop working and can only work normally after reducing or removing the load power. The default overload power is 3680W and can be adjusted between 0 and 3680W. Normally, you need to set the overload power to 1800W before use. Just press and hold the "Function" button for more than 3 seconds to enter the setting.
  • Data Memory Function: When you unplug the power meter from the socket or remove the appliance from the power monitor, the power meter will record your power usage data. The next time you use it, you can directly view the last data. This function can also automatically save data in the event of a sudden power outage.
  • Monitor Your Energy Usage: Our power meter analyzer allows you to track your power usage and manage your power usage, helping you save money on electricity bills. Plug in Watt Meter

I ordered this watt meter to check household item wattage requirements when they are running to better plan the items that could be operated at the same time on my backup power generator when an outage happens. The watt meter is back lighted so the digital reading is easy to see. There are multiple settings in addition to watt readings such as cost at price per kwh, usage over a period of time, backlight time out, and others. I will only use as needed to verify the generator is running 60 hertz also. I included some pictures with a quartz heater connected. Each heat level should be 500 watts but the total looks to be 1229 watts on a 1500 watt heater.

I was wanting to get one of these for a while to hunt for thirsty devices. As electricity eats up more and more of our budget, it was time. This device is simple but effective. The instructions are simple and in real English. I like the large and legible display that is also backlit. The unit saves your readings in memory, which can be zeroed out again for the next device. Super useful and reasonable price. I'm a fan!

Great way to reduce your electric bill!

When I was growing up, my mother had a large deep freezer. Over the years, her electric bill crept higher and higher, and we thought it was just inflation. Then, she got rid of the deep freezer, and the electric bill got a lot lower! She could have afforded to eat every meal at a nice restaurant, for what she paid to "save money by cooking at home!" If your electric bill is too high, and you don't know why, this little gadget will help you figure out the actual cost to keep each thing running. You just plug it into the wall, and plug your appliance into it, turn the appliance on, and push a few buttons. You can compare an electric space heater to an electric blanket, or decide if it's time to upgrade - or just get rid of - that deep freezer. You can even show your kids exactly what it costs per month when they forget to turn off their lamp or video game console ; ) Great tool for saving money!
