Not bad for the price
Seems good so far. Not sure how the fir will hold up long term (probably not great, might coat it with some outdoor wood protector and then line the inside). Easy to put together, I did it by myself in about an hour or so. Power tool makes it a lot easier as there are a lot of screws involved. Everything lined up fine, nothing was broken and no parts were missing. I would not expect this type of wood to hold up long term but you’d want cedar for that and then it would be more expensive.

The perfect herb planter
Put this together in early spring and it has been flourishing with herb plants. The color is starting to fade as expected from being in the summer sun. Assemble was easy and quick. The size was perfect for our family of four. There is no liner but the bottom framing was strong enough to support the garden soil and when watered even after heavy rains.
