Duck Brand, 7.5 Inch X 8.75 Inch Black Flexible Faucet Cover, Helps Prevent Freezing

I was super surprised at how easily these popped on a very difficult faucet to cover outdoors. In the past I have had to pay $400 for busted pipes, and I think you can determine the price differential between the cost of these covers and the cost of a burst pipe. not to mention I never want to go through standing outside in the freezing cold while it gets repaired. Don't ask me why I feel like I have to be there with a plumber, I just can't put him through standing there in the cold alone. Yes I am that nice. lol but seriously, I've used the Styrofoam ones as well, but I have one that is so hard to do that this was an incredible find. Highly recommend. My plumber will just have to miss me, because not having a burst pipe last year was a thrill. I know. I need a better social life, if that's a thrill. But y'all know what I mean! Stay warm and dry.

Cold weather is coming so I decided to get covers for my outside faucets. took a look on Walmart online and found two types of covers for my faucets, the Hard cone shape and a more flexible soft cover. Both covers were very reasonable priced, compared to the same covers on Lowe's online site. Lowes price for the soft cover was listed at $7.42, the hard cover was listed at $3.45. Walmart price was $2.45 for the soft cover and $1.45 for the hard cone shape cover. I purchased both, put the soft over first and then placed the cone shape cover over the soft one as a added protection. I am truly satisfied with my purchase at Walmart.
