I never opened the delivered package from Walmart. Ijust wrapped it and put it under the Christmas tree. Our 20 member family played "Dirty Christmas" where everyone draws a number and has a chance to steal your present. This hotdog roaster was stolen 3 times by various family members until the game was over. The last person to steal this toaster, eats hotdogs everyday. No kidding everyday. After he won this prize, he ran to his truck with this package and stated this was going in his man cave and nobody better touch it. As far as how it works, this party was yesterday, so I dont have any feedback. I just know how many people wanted it, fought for it, stole it, and the winner ran with it. It's a great Christmas gift if you have a " Matlock" in the family.

This toaster like appliance is fun to use. At the over ripe age of 83 I have trouble getting pans,etc. With this device everything is right there and hot dogs and buns come out at the same time. Read in one review that buns might come out too toasted so I trimmed them a little! No pans to dig out and put away.

This thing is great!

I purchased this for an easy way to make a quick lunch during my long work shift. This unit works very well & I'm very happy with purchase. It is worth mentioning that large "plump" hotdogs are too big for this unit, and if you enjoy your hotdogs well done or burnt, you might need to cook them twice. If your hotdogs are too plump to get out of the toaster, wait a few minutes as they will shrink once they aren't so hot. The buns normally don't go down with the hotdogs, but I just give them a little tap to make them go down as well. Overall, for the price I paid, this is a handy little device and I've, as well as many of my coworkers, have gotten a great kick out of it!
