I got this for my husband, who always forgets to shave before work. He'd never used an actual shaver, he's always used a hair trimmer with the guards off. I wanted to wait a while, and see if it really held up to the hype, before leaving my review. I had him test it at home, before putting it in the car glove box. I wanted to make sure he wasn't going to end up with nicks all over his face at work, in case the shaver was junk. But it cut really close, no pinching or pulling out hairs, and he said it was really easy to use, it kind of glided over his skin, even without it being wet. It cut perfectly around his mustache and goatee. We did notice that his face doesn't get all red, the way it does when using his trimmer, so I think the gold foil really does save his sensitive skin! Charging didn't seem to take long after it arrived. The battery has held for over a week, and he hasn't even brought it in the house for a charge. I think he looks great, the goatee looks so much better than when he just used the trimmer. He looks more professional every day for work, and that gives him confidence, which I love.
