I purchased this parka for my four-year-old son, who is 41 inches tall. I also bought one for my eight-year-old son, who is 54 inches tall. The XXS is 31 inches long and comes right above my four-year-old's ankles. The sleeves are approximately 17½ inches long from the seam, which is a bit long for him; however, they have Velcro adjustable straps, so you can tighten them or simply roll them up. The adult small I bought for my eight-year-old is 39 inches long and also comes above his ankles. The sleeves measure about 21 inches from the seam. Think of these jackets as intentionally oversized. These parkas are perfect for swimming in all seasons. In the winter, it can get very drafty right after leaving the pool, and in the summer, the kids can change inside the parka without rushing to a bathroom. I recommend drying your children off with a towel first and then putting the jacket on. This keeps them warm and allows the parka to continue drying them. You don't want to put the jacket on a soaking-wet child as if it were a towel. The parka has adjustable wrist straps and 2 generously sized side pockets on left and right and 1 large pocket inside. The interior is made of a fluffy, soft material that has remained plush even after washing, without bunching up like some blankets do. It features a double zipper, allowing you to zip it from both the top and bottom. It also has a hood, which is very convenient. The inside of the hood is lined with the same soft, moisture-wicking material, while the exterior feels like durable tent-style fabric.Velcro patch area that comes with a patch with the jacket logo but you can change that to your own patch. I really truly love these parkas. I'd been eyeing them for the last two years and finally was able to afford them. These parkas will last us 3-4 years before my sons grow out. I see they're now on sale, and I'd highly recommend buying them. I got the Electric Blue color, and I think they're fantastic.
