I worked in many restaurant kitchens and this item is restaurant quality!!! Was very easy to setup and use. For example I diced 2 onions %26 5 bell peppers in less than 3 minutes without having to clean pieces off of tge blade(which is unheard of from any plastic version of this product) It is extremely durable, strong, sharp and I rate a 10 out of 10 in ease of use compared to all of it's plastic based competitors out there. The metal base and arm makes it well worth the little extra $ it costs to purchase. I will never go back to plastic for this product after using this one. I have to pinch pennies like most, have a disability that makes my right hand hurt a lot after cutting 1 or 2 veggies. This thing is a life saver for me and has brightened my life getting back in the kitchen to cook without the pain preparation took for years. I actually look forward to cooking again. "Takes the pain out of prep for disabled cooks or cooks with autoimmune issues, swollen/arthritic/tremors/painful hands, this thing is finally the right tool for us!!!" Having all of these issues myself I wholeheartedly, 100% recommend for this item for anyone dealing with even one of these issues!!!! And for anyone without, the ease of use.
