Disclaimer: this bed was purchased for adults to room together. Putting it together wasn't completely painful. It took 3 people to complete. Pay extra attention to the details and make sure the holes on every part are facing the correct way, or you'll find yourself having to undo and redo often lol. One of the indentations in the bottom bed was missing a plastic piece for one of the metal slacks to sit into. We're just going to put a piece of rubber of plastic so the metal doesn't make any noise. All in all I recommend this bunk bed. It's affordable (got it on sale lol) and it looks great in black. Looks mature and modern.
