I'm always afraid of frozen vegetables tasting like they did in the 80's with horrible bags of broccoli full of hard, chewy, water logged stems that you tried to chew without retching in front of your parents because they deemed that sound “disrespectful”. These veggies are not the veggies from the 80's, friends. I mix these with some rice and teriyaki chicken for a quick, lower calorie, high protein meal. Super convenient steam pack. The seasoning is good, not overpowering, not underwhelming. Just enough that I don't think while I eat it “this is horrible”, I don't think about it at all, which means it's good. If you were traumatized by 80's frozen vegetables, fear not, these are different. Give them a try.

I do not think I will be needing Chinese take out much more after discovering this perfect Asian medley. The combination of veggies is ideal for making a stir fry at home because it has everything from snow peas to broccoli to carrots to those awesome little baby corn that make Chinese take out so fun. I added chicken to this and served it over Jasmine rice. So incredibly delicious!
