GREAT FOR TRAVEL
I purchased the backpack to be able to take a light coat or rain gear and a bottle of water and have some space for a light lunch and a map when I travel to a foreign city and want to go for a long walk in the city or a hike. I don't like to carry things on a plane so I can find my seat and not worry about overhead space, so the backpack gets put in the luggage that is checked. So, I wanted something that does not take up space in the luggage, is light weight and yet is useable when I am there. This is perfect. Yes you can see everything that is in there so I don't put anything visible that might cause a problem but because everything is visible it is also easy to find what you are looking for. Lastly the price--beats them all.
