This is one of the most aggravating clocks I have owned. It looks good, nice bright large time display, with the added feature of days of the week. However, it is not user friendly to work with the settings. Nothing is labeled. You have to memorize what the buttons and symbols are for. Then, it is hit and miss working through the selections and trying to get to the right settings and do them quickly enough before it stops the setting process. Although it has batteries, it seems that the batteries are mostly for time setting backup during power outage. It does not light up with just the batteries, it has to be plugged in with the usb cord. I absolutely would not buy this clock again. I got what I paid for, a lot of frustration and aggravation, and waste of time trying to get it set up or adjusted. I would not recommend this clock.
