It sounds a bit muddy on bass lines. The speaker floods out and an equalizer app is imperative for clarity if you enjoy the high-end of the musical experience. It's durable but I have yet to find the need to complely submerge the speaker to test it's underwater acoustics and would imagine the bass would deliver a pop!
