Last year I bought 2 pairs, they lasted more than 10 months. Due to thin sole, I never felt like I walked through them. Still have the other pairs that I wear as slippers. Have bought a couple of other types of shoes, a pair of danskos (however you spell it) and a pair of trail running sneakers neither of which are as comfortable for long term wear as these. I am on my feet for 12 hours with no knee or hip pain!
