The item does not match the picture

I bought this to replace a broken door handle I bought years ago at Walmart. I was so happy to find the same item still for sale on Walmart.com. It meant not having to change all 8 of my interior door handles so they would match. What a disappointment to get this and find out it does not match the picture on the website. The handle part is the same, but the escutcheon (backplate that touches the door) is a different shape.

Brink's Non-Locking Passage Wave Lever is the perfect combination of style and quality. The passage function is ideal for interior door applications such as the hallway, closet, utility closet, or children's bedroom where locking is not required. Operate the latch mechanism from the exterior or interior by the lever. The adjustable latch is compatible with a 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset and fits most standard doors measuring from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. The lever is reversible and can be installed on right or left-hand doors for convenience.
