Bottom Line: Great product once assembled, but assembling was difficult and very time-consuming! Allow 10 hours if midway experienced with assembly. Positives: --Blendable design, great for co-sleeping and then toddler transitioning into own room w/ same bed --Fence prevents most roll-out accidents (see negatives for exception). --Simple but highly appealing aesthetic --Fits well around twin mattress without become obscenely bulky like the last Montessori-style bed pen we had for him that ate about half the space in our room! Negatives: --Gap of entryway is huge and there is no gate; my son could fairly easily roll through it at night. I wish there was a gate that would open and close. This would also slow toddlers down at least a little bit from jumping on %26 off bed. However, hinges can be a problem, too, %26 I recognize that.
