I was buying hokus and found these with the wide toebox and decided to give them a try. They are great shoe for a lot less than hokus. I have bought three pair of these shoes and when they wear out, I'm hoping they will still be available to purchase

I was doubtful that these shoes, at this reasonable price, would have any comfort or quality to speak of. I have paid for so many pairs that were hard as a rock to walk on, with no arch support and hurt my knees and hips to even go for 5 minutes. I have always had to pay over $100 for shoes that give me comfort but can't afford that anymore and only had disappointment for the last 6 years. These shoes are such good quality and are so soft and shock absorbing I am astounded. To paid such a reasonable price and get this kind of foot comfort is somewhat of a miracle for me. they fit really well, all around. No pinching, no hard crease cutting into the top of my toes, and no need to buy arch supports or cushioned insoles. I ran across these by sheer luck and almost talked myself out of them because of so many prior bad purchases but am so glad I went ahead with it. They are worth every penny and then some. If you have a balance problem though, I would say don't buy these because they have high soles which create a different kind of foot step and you may find yourself tripping. Get yourself a flat, level, low sole for stability and balance.
