I didn't have high expectations for this chair, but I needed a simple chair for my home office. Something low/affordable in price and at least marginally comfortable. I looked at furniture stores and everything was just, ok, but much higher in price than I wanted to pay (3 times the price of this chair). It goes well with my office decor/style, was very easy to assemble and is surprisingly comfortable and sturdy. I really like it!
