No Man's Sky - Nintendo Switch

Well, I personally dislike videogames with overcomplicated controls, where you have 18 total buttons that all do something different in 3 different contexts (do the math with THAT one), and - much like Minecraft - it just sets you off like "here you go!" When, I argue, that someone exploring space would have been extensively trained; games like Zelda and even Final Fantasy (which rarely makes sense) teach you as you go or have practice modes, taking a logical approach of going through training as the character! Everything is so vast, and I like that there's endless possibility and I will never run out of something new to explore, but it takes forever to get there (or maybe I just haven't figured out portals yet because of all the bleeping buttons). I think this is a game for those who dedicate their life and hobbies to gaming, because you will otherwise be playing in bite-sized chunks like I do. My favorite aspect is the animal companions; my big alien cat brought me condensed oxygen while I was sorting my backpack!!!!! Too cool! Also, I miss my cat like crazy, so it was nice to have a faithful cat going everywhere I go again! I like the game, the music is just like you would hope; I just wish that I could relax and play it, not having to become some expert just to be able to play the game. If you can master the controls (and not waste too much of your limited time in this life doing so), it will be worth it.
