Now Running Dual SB-17s - Bass Nirvana!

This is a follow up review. I previously submitted my review after a month or so with a single SB-17. I have now upgraded to a dual SB-17 configuration. I'll keep this short. I use these exclusively for movies in my home theater. These are awesome defined! Clarity and precision at its pinnacle! This setup has more headroom than my home can handle. A LOT more. These will definitely be my forever Subs!

SVS Ultra 17 Subwoofer

The communication with customer service was great. Helped me to decide to buy two subs and I was informed in time to get them at lower cost. _x000D_ _x000D_ I should take a half a star off because the auto EQ update app is taking a long time, and I don't have a good way to confirm my crossover point and slope, without seeing a live graph that covers from 10 to around 300 hz. For now, I have to just base it on just listening. Currently using 125 hz, but it could be better anywhere from 90-150. My system for now is stereo only and the midrange towers with 18 3-inch full range drivers per side, do roll off somewhere in that range.

Incredible sound, detail was beyod expectation

I have had three variations of SVS subwoofers and this is by far the best. The sound is incredible. The detail of the instruments when playing music and the immersion when watching movies is the best I have ever had. You not only hear the the explosions and deep base sounds you physically experience them. I have two and although they are large they do not clutter the room. They blend well with my Matin Logan FX100's. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys music and home theater. They are excellent in a two channel format as well as a home theater setting.
