SVS Ultra 17 Subwoofer

The communication with customer service was great. Helped me to decide to buy two subs and I was informed in time to get them at lower cost. _x000D_ _x000D_ I should take a half a star off because the auto EQ update app is taking a long time, and I don't have a good way to confirm my crossover point and slope, without seeing a live graph that covers from 10 to around 300 hz. For now, I have to just base it on just listening. Currently using 125 hz, but it could be better anywhere from 90-150. My system for now is stereo only and the midrange towers with 18 3-inch full range drivers per side, do roll off somewhere in that range.

SVS SB17 - i have 3 (so far!)

For about a year, I have been on journey (adventure) to create a magnificent audio area. I have a huge space (about 7000 square feet and 12' high ceilings). I have my audio/TV set up about the middle along one wall. I bought a SB17 on Amazon and was blown away! The sound was so much better than previous subs I had. Then, my research said how great 2 subs could be. Then, I bought another off Amazon! The result was even better than expected. Well, even more research suggested adding more subs. The last SB17 I bought directly from SVS. Now I have 2 in front L & R and the last one is located about 2 feet behind my couch where I soak it all up. That last one behind really went over the top!!! Each time I added a sub, things just took a huge step up! I love the feel and the sound! I listen to music about 98% of the time. Seriously thinking of buying a PB17 now... I highly recommend these!!!!!

Now Running Dual SB-17s - Bass Nirvana!

This is a follow up review. I previously submitted my review after a month or so with a single SB-17. I have now upgraded to a dual SB-17 configuration. I'll keep this short. I use these exclusively for movies in my home theater. These are awesome defined! Clarity and precision at its pinnacle! This setup has more headroom than my home can handle. A LOT more. These will definitely be my forever Subs!
