Great canner even for new canners

Works as it should, easy for a new canner like me. The steady stream is normal! I did need to call customer service to check!

very rugged and versatile...

this thing is tough! my black lab has stolen it 3 times, and I backed into it with my truck in the driveway. it stayed sealed. it is great for cooking up beans without having to soak them.. my dog loves the chicken thighs...

bigger than I thought it was going to be

I haven't had an opportunity to use this yet. I highly, highly recommend you read the instruction manual front to back, especially if you're new to using this type of canner. It seemed a little high priced, but because it slow cooks, braises, pressure cans and water bath cans, I decided to splurge. it also came with an extra jiggler for use in high altitude locations. It came well packaged, with no damages. I am excited to try it out soon. I would purchase it again.
